Valiant 

It simply is a synonym of brave and courageous. Valiant people do feel fear, but they are able to manage and overcome their fear so that it does not stop them taking action. Being valiant is not only about knowing what it takes to stand up and speak but also knowing what it takes to sit down and listen. One must be valiant because only those who will risk going too far can possibly find out how far one can go.

Being valiant should not at all be confused with showing muscle power or being tough or having an upper hand.
